Do not Leave Klopp Like Brendan Rodgers
Liverpool will host arch rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Saturday (14/10). Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp is cautioned not to lose.
Facing Manchester United, Liverpool in a less ideal situation. Liverpool have won just one win in their last seven games in all competitions. Even so in the league, where they only won once since Arsenal hit 4-0, August.
The result makes Liverpool are ranked seventh Premier League standings after pocketing 12 points seven match results. The Red is seven points behind MU in second position.
On the other hand, MU in a more prime condition. The Red Devils have not been unbeaten in all competitions this season, including winning six wins and one draw in his first seven appearances in the Premier League.
For Klopp, if Liverpool lose to Manchester United, then he will equal the bad incision Rodgers, his predecessor. Rodgers was sacked midway through 2015/2016 after Liverpool had 12 points from eight games in the Premier League.
Ex-Liverpool star Jamie Redknapp knows very well the importance of defeating United. According to him, victory over Manchester United will be able to affect the performance of Liverpool in the rest of this season.
“It’s that kind of match, for Liverpool, it can change your season,” Redknapp told Omnisport. “I’ve been against Man United many times, when, if you win, it’s a game that changes the season.”
“If (Liverpool) lost … maybe the pressure will start to seize Juergen Klopp .. I mean it … because judging by the number of points, he (Klopp) is no better than Brendan Rodgers, if not worse.”
“This is an exciting match for him and a match you do not want to lose against Manchester United in any phase of the season.”
